Wednesday, we had an Investiture. Today, we are having another Investiture, this time for the parents to watch. My parents did not go, because they had to visit my brother at Pulau Tekong. (He's serving in NS.)

Anyway, the event started at 2 p.m. promptly. Mr. Loh, the Principal, first gave his speech. In it, he also mentioned this morning's news report about Sebastian Chay, an ex-student of us and also an ex-Councillor. I never knew how miserable his family was. Now I do, and I sympathise.

Then the 10th Student Council Executive Committee, or EXCO for short, was introduced, and Bernice, the President of the Student Council, gave her speech. Next the confirmation certificates were given out to all new Councillors who have received the green light to be officially a Councillor.

After a few more speeches it was refreshment time. The photo-taking session was next. After that we loosened up a bit and went crazy. (Sort of.)

It would be another new year for the Student Council.
