Since National Day this year falls on a Monday, we are having the celebrations today. Since I would be receiving prizes today, I reported to the teachers at the amphitheatre before flag raising. Of course, what followed the flag raising ceremony are the usual stuff: reciting the pledge, singing the song 'My People, My Home' and stuff.

As the students proceeded to the Hall for the rest of the celebrations, all prize-recipients proceeded to the Science labs on the second level to get ready for the prize-presentation ceremony. I first received the Top CCA Performer (ELDDS) and then went back to get another award, Service award for service in the Student Council.

After the prize-presentation ceremony the EXCO went to the back of the hall and sat down to watch the rest of the programmes. The concert culminated in the singing of Home, the theme song for this year's National Day (though they used the old version, the one Kit sang). Every year, the sing-along will get everybody standing, singing and swaying to the music.

After clear-up of the Hall I went bowling with the other EXCO members. Went home after that.
