New Year's Day
The welcoming of 2005 was a quiet one.
The TV, switched to Channel 5, silently counted down to 2005. New Year greetings from MediaCorp artistes and Singapore Idol finalists then showed, following which they pleaded viewers to donate generously to tsunami victims. After that Taufik's debut single's music video I Dream aired exclusively. All in all, I can say some people entered 2005 in a bad mood.
New Year's Day morning. Rain again. Spent the day listening to 98.7FM online which was airing the repeat telecast of the Top 100 on 10 Countdown. Overall, the day wasn't very interesting for New Year's Day, and the mood wasn't exactly high up there. Probably the worst New Year's Day in years.
