It's Labour Day today, and tomorrow's a holiday. ;) 1SA1 had a BBQ outing tonight at Mr. Chan's condo. Though there were screw-ups in the programme of the day (all thanks to me), we quickly decided to walk from Kallang MRT to Mr. Chan's condo.

We went into Mr. Chan's condo at around 7pm. We went up to the pavilion where the BBQ pits Mr. Chan booked were. As it took some time to get all the stuff together, including firestarters and wire mesh, the charcoal was ready only at around 8.30pm and the food by 9pm. There was a lot of food and I ate quite a lot: chicken wings, sausages, salmon, mutton, satay, pork ribs and marshmellows, just to name a few.

By the end of the day (which was 11.30pm) Jiun Siang was told to bring most of the food back to his hostel to give to the others there. Most took taxis home; Joon Kiat and I shared a taxi back to Bukit Batok.
