"A Christmas Carol" Post-Production Party

The "A Christmas Carol" Post-Production Party was held tonight at Suraj's house. I was the second to show up (after Viknesh). As time passed people started to turn up, including Mrs Creffield, Ms Wong, the lead actor David and Lindis, the only other female to turn up on time. While nibbling on snacks at the foyer and waiting for the sun to set and the sky to darken, a whole bunch of girls finally showed up; they had apparently met up at Kranji MRT station to come to Suraj's house together.

The buffet naturally consisted of mainly Indian food, most of which are rather hot and spicy too. I had two helpings back to back and ended up feeling bloated. We blasted music and occasional dancing and banghra occurred. Throughout the night a couple of other people showed up too, including Mrs Creffield's friend Mr. Aaron Maniam, the other two "ghosts" Judith and Yi Jun, Jayne, Ethel, Meixi and Meiyi.

As the night stretched to 10pm, there was less dancing going on, partly due to the rain which came in the middle of the party. A big group shifted into Suraj's room to chat, while a couple more chilled out outside. Small groups of people also started heading home, but I heard that a number of them intended to stay overnight. Though I could stay overnight (my parents are away in Malacca), I wasn't exactly prepared to, so I left around midnight.

But, honestly, I didn't want to leave. It's been quite some time since I've had so much fun. Sigh.
