Very rainy day today. Had the Chinese test today. I didn't learn the "150 Idioms". Result? Minus 15 marks. Or rather, 14, since I knew one. Other than that, I should be able to pass, if not I'll be eating stale meat. (Don't know what that's supposed to mean.)

If only every day was like this...

Monday, April 28, 2003

A Monday. An okay-for-me Monday.

Sunday, April 27, 2003

A Sunday. An okay-for-me Sunday.

Saturday, April 26, 2003

It's the 86th Annual Speech & Prize-Giving Day aka Speech Day. I arrived at school a tad too early. Never mind, I'll settle down earlier, then. Noticed the ushers being briefed on their duties. Bless them.

The guests and prize winners filed into the Hall. By 4.15 p.m. everyone had taken their place, and the Parade began. Had the rain earlier continued, the Parade would have been cancelled for the second year running (it happened last year).

Blah, blah, blah...oh, it's over. After many speeches and many names being called out, it was time for refreshment. Or rather, for my parents, DINNER. Blimey.

Went to watch the Quarter Final debate between our school's debating team and Outram Secondary School. Miraculously, we won! We are moving into the Semi Finals!

Thursday, April 24, 2003

Got back our Chemistry class test today; I had 19 upon 25. Also got back our A. Maths Ten Year Series class test paper today; full marks. Had the Biology test today; very tricky.

Tests, tests, tests. When will they end? Never, maybe...

Wednesday, April 23, 2003

We ran out 2.4 km test today. I set my own personal record of 12 minutes and 40 seconds. Cool!

Tuesday, April 22, 2003

Blah blah blah...writing diary entries is becoming boring...especially when there's nothing special, nothing big...

Monday, April 21, 2003

Chemistry test today. I think I can do well. I think.

Sunday, April 20, 2003

My mum bought the Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets VCD. Cool.

Saturday, April 19, 2003

Today's the full dress rehersal for Speech Day 2003. The teachers are very particular about everything, but not to the point of being strict. Nothing much, the usual stuff.

Friday, April 18, 2003

Is it supposed to rain this heavily on Good Friday? If it is, then it shouldn't be called Good Friday. It should be called Monsoon Friday.

Thursday, April 17, 2003

A regular Thursday. Then I realized I forgot to hand in the Invitation form for Speech Day to the teacher! *frown*

Wednesday, April 16, 2003

Today, I attended the first rehersal for Speech Day, to be held next Saturday. It's not my first time at the Speech Day, but it is the first time I'm getting a voucher. It's also the first time that I'm not an emcee for the Speech Day. Nothing much, just the seating arrangement and the prize receiving.

Tuesday, April 15, 2003

Another typical school day. I'm still advertising Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire. Well, sort of. ;P

Monday, April 14, 2003

It's back to school today. At the back gate a teacher called to people who have gone overseas during the break to go to Hall 1 for checks. First two periods were replaced by Sars periods. Canteen wore masks for hygiene. Etcetra etcetra etcetra.

Sunday, April 13, 2003

Sunday. Rushing my homework.

Saturday, April 12, 2003

Saturday. Doing my homework.

Friday, April 11, 2003

Still doing my homework...zzz...zzz...

Thursday, April 10, 2003

My 100th entry, and guess what? It comes with more homework. 'Nuff said.

Wednesday, April 09, 2003

Nowadays I'm addicted to the news. Watching Chinese news, watching English news, reading newspapers, reading news on the Web...I feel like some important person. Dots.

Tuesday, April 08, 2003

I entered Homework Hades today.

Monday, April 07, 2003

Holidays - for schooling people, it's always about homework, all the homework and nothing but the homework.

Sunday, April 06, 2003

Another boring Sunday. I watched The Ring VCD in the afternoon. It's the second time I'm watching it, so it isn't as scary as when I first watched it.

Still playing Pokemon Sapphire, of course. I'm training my Pokemon for the Pokemon League challenge. There's a long way to go, mind you.

Saturday, April 05, 2003

It has been announced: secondary schools will remain closed till 14 April. Another one week holiday for us! Plus, only one week will be taken away from our June holiday! And my sore throat's getting better! Just how cool can things get?

Friday, April 04, 2003

Still playing Pokemon Sapphire, still down with sore throat. Plus, the Minister for Education will announce by tomorrow whether an extended holiday is required.

Thursday, April 03, 2003

Still playing Pokemon Sapphire. I came down with sore throat...Don't worry, it's not Sars. I do not have high fever, have not been to Sars-affected regions and have not been in contact with anybody with Sars.

Wednesday, April 02, 2003

Still playing Pokemon Sapphire. I'm also advertising Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire to my friends. Hehe...

Tuesday, April 01, 2003

It's April Fool's Day. Not my most favourite day, considering the fact that I get tricked quite easily. In fact, a friend of mine told me that there was a latest piece of news on CNA that we were to return to school tomorrow. A few minutes of panic later, she sprung the magic phrase.
