Fully packed day. I went to NJC's funfair, Funtasia 2, in the late morning, hoping to see my old secondary school friends. I met Samuel, Fang You, Quan Ming, Zhi Yuan, Sia See, Ai Pheng, Chii Yeh, Shiling, Peiyu, Yen Nee, Ching Li, Wenya, Siang Yong, Yan Ting, Jane, Wei Loong, Zirui, Sihui, Yuntian, Cherrylene, Yew Seng, Eng Ping and a few more. I didn't spend all my $10 though, which was kind of a waste. Oh well.
After that, I walked over to HCI for HCI's Music and Dance Society's inaugural show, "Touch". Benny, Yvonne, Cheng Rong and a whole bunch of other NHSS councillors (which includes Nicholas, Si Aun, Bernice, Desmond, Sui Pheng and Jia Jing) went too. The show was pretty good for an inaugural show. The use of the microphones was kinda unnatural (probably because I have seldom used microphones in the shows I have been in), but then again, HCI Auditorium was HUGE.
After the show and late lunch/early dinner at Bukit Timah Hawker Centre, I headed to the DBS Arts Centre. I was helping out in the DEP students' first public performance as a class (with the second-intakers), Theasthai. Helping out too were Noel (former DEP student who dropped DEP at the second round of subject registration), Joanna Koh and Zhan, Ms Sangeetha, Ms Lin and Audrey Low.
The crowds came at 7 plus, and the place was packed by 7.30pm. There were enough people to fill the stall seats, so there wasn't a need to open the circle seats. The whole show took 3 hours (ah, should have put a warning at the front of house had we known - then again, the students never had a FULL dress rehearsal), but most of the performances were very good.
Finally, we striked set and some of us went back to school to move stuff back. Was past midnight by the time we finished.
